18.09.07 - Programmable logic controller compatible with SPEED7

VIPA has released the SPEED7-CPU programmable logic controller with CAN interface (PLC). The PLC is programmable with STEP7 from Siemens and is adjustable to the instruction set of S/-300 and S/-400 from Siemens.

The PLC's memory can be dynamically adapted to the demands of the application without having to change the hardware. This could reduce the required PLC types to a single one, says the company. The PLC provides an integrated high-speed Ethernet 343 in¬terface with RFC1006, S7 communication, TCP/IP, Modbus master, USS master and UDP.

The device is projectable with up to 16 connections depending on the version. The programmable logic controller with SPEED7 technology is configurable via Memory Configuration Card.
