For whom is the SPEED7 Technology of interest?

SPEED7 is an Open Source-Technology for real time automation solutions. Manufacturers of automated equipment and integrators of control solutions have already been designing and supplying our SPEED7 technology around the world. SPEED7 will provide the system control for your I/O and is able to interface with your HMI terminals.

SPEED7 is the only ASIC in the market which processes instructions in STEP®7 from Siemens as Native Code, without needing any interpretation. It takes the performance of all systems to a very high level, a speed increase factor between 4~8 times depending upon application (for more details, see Benchmark).

The SPEED7-Processor from PROFICHIP is the "core" of the system architecture and is responsible for the performance of the system. The high processing speed of the processor is completed by the integrated 12 MBit/s MPI-Communication Interface.
